Dita Von Teese Inez&Vinooh

I am very fond of the pin-up style and Dita Von Teese portrays this very well. I plan on incorporating this into my shoot. I will be using many factors, including the vibrant lipstick, the porcelain skin tone, and the baring of flesh, if this is possible due to college regulations. I like the soft lighting used in these shots, it takes away the provocative element and makes it subtle and somewhat innocent. I also like that in most of the images its usually subject or only ever small prop featured, these keeps the main focus on the subject.

David Lachapelle
I love the bright colours David Lachapelle uses in his work, the photographs grab your attention before you've even really noticed them. Again with his work, there are woman continually showing flesh, but his images being in a slightly more sexual.

Lady GaGa

I adore the quirky eye makeup, it adds such drama to such a simple photograph. I intend to add this into my shoot, with my model. I have decided to do a few test shots with the use of this makeup, to see if it is possible.
