Street photography is capturing interesting but simple everyday moments with the subject present in the photos usually being oblivious. It can be a way of recording the happenings of daily life on the streets, capturing timeless moments that people usually turn a blind eye to.

For my first attempt at street photography I went onto the streets of Leeds City Centre where I shot images that caught my eye which I found visually interesting. I managed to capture moments of every day happenings, which at any other time I may never have noticed, yet through the lens the images I caught reflected expression and even emotion. When taking photographs of people I preferred to shoot them candidly, to avoid pose and self awareness, catching them naturally. Whilst doing this style of photography I had my camera set on AV mode, to control the depth of field, on at a high shutter of 600 and the aperture at f5.6, along with the ISO depending on weather either 200-400.
